Biography
Based in Great Chesterford, Essex.
My art training in the 70s was graphic based and the following years in teaching developed my abilities in a variety of art and craft skills. I graduated from A.P.U. Cambridge in 2005 achieving a high class degree in Fine Art, specialising in painting.
Statement
I create impressions of the landscape. Colours are softened or intensified, perspective flattened and features simplified. My key concepts are freedom and control appearing in the form of grids, windows and openings.
