Saffron Walden Art Society

The Saffron Walden Art Society is open to all those who are actively interested in art. Most members are painters and take part in various events throughout the year. Once a month (third Friday), there is an evening meeting with demonstrations in a variety of media given by guest speakers. There are also several workshop weekends when members get together at different venues to paint.

Opportunities to show and sell members’ work exists in exhibitions held regularly on Saturdays through the summer in the Bandstand in Jubilee Gardens.

Exhibitions in 2006 will be on Saturdays May 27^th; June 24^th; July 29^th and August 26^th. 

In addition there will be a large exhibition held in the Town Hall from Thursday 2^nd November to Sunday 5^th November 2006.
